In Mid Apr, The France Human Adaptation Institute announced 15pictures which were about 15 volunteers who lived in a cave. According to the report from BBC, in order to finding out the adaptability limit, 15 volunteers lived in the cave for 40days. They stayed in the cave without mobiles and clocks, and couldn’t connect with outside. Besides these, they slept in tents, tried to generate electricity by themselves, and could not see the sun. And the scientists followed their body situation through the sensors which were hanged on the bodies of the volunteers. The name of the test was “depth time”, the main purpose of the research was testing the reaction when people lost the feeling of the time and space. Before coming into the cave, the scientists analyzed the brain activities and cognitive functions of the volunteers，so that they could do the comparison. During the living, all volunteers only can judge the time through their sleep circle, and lots of them thought the time was getting slowly even thought they only stayed there about 20days
