Homework

Write about one of the projects you’ve dealt with and some of the risks that you needed to consider in your analysis. What was the situation in the local area? What were the risks, causes of the risks, and what could the government or local people do to mitigate them?

Writing exercise

In the first week of May Julia and I went to Sanya, to enjoy the Labor Day holidays and also extending until Saturday. In total, we stayed there for 6 days! Departing from Honqiao at 6 am was not a big trouble, considering that I decided to carry my bike with me. I just had to call for a 6-seat-Didi around 4 am, to be sure that a car would be there in time to reach the airport.

In Sanya we stayed at the Anantara Hotel, a Southeast Asia style hotel well located in a quite calm bay in the south part of the city. In general, we started our morning with a strong breakfast before alternating for the rest of the day between the beach and the pool. By the time when the hungry came, we went to the populous Dadohai downtown for dinner and a couple of beers.

Apart from spending our holidays eating and resting near water, I had time for cycling as well. Eventually, before bleakest, I rode through the Sanya cost zone. It was a pleasure because the air quality was great and there was no rush at that time. Finally, I felt positively about coming back to Sanya, principally in conditions like nowadays that we are not allowed to travel abroad.
