I bought some food I like before I made the hotpot.I bought fatty beef,tofu,soup balls,blackfungus,needlemushroom and greens.That’s all I wanted to eat.Usually,when you go to restaurants,people often order half and half.But I have a low spicy tolerance cuz Sichuan peppercorn numbs my tongue. So I only prepared clear broth which was healthier for me. At first,I filled the pot with water.then boiled water until half hot,it’s time for me to put clear broth to the pot.When the pot was boiling,I dipped the sliced beef quickly in the soup,then pulled the food out with net.I could cook as I ate.The flavor and texture were magnificent after I dipped the meat into sauce which consisted of barbecue sauce,sesame oil,dried chillis,cilantro.Some people think cilantro tastes like dish soup though. In the end,I feel that having hotpot with friends is a pleasant thing.Hotpot is becoming more and more popular all over the world.I’m quite proud of Chinese food.
