The travel in Cancun

It was the summer of 2018, I took a vacation in Cancun with my son. We flew from Chicago to Cancun and rent a car in the airport. I have booked the car online though, there was no car for me on the spot. So, they offered me a same leveled car instead. You can not imagine that how poor the car was, full of scratches, no air conditioner and automatical windows. But the worst was that when I was driving on the road, few people obeyed the traffic rules and all the signs were in Spanish. It would have cost 15 mins to the hotel, but I drove 60 mins actually because I could not read the Spanish sign and I had to drive slowly to avoid cars. Fortunately, I found the hotel which was an all- inclusive hotel. All-inclusive means the cost of all the services, likes meals or room services, had been included in the price. I was surprised to find that my son and I were the only Asian in that hotel after lived there for some days. we went to a famous natural water park and swam in a gap between two mountains. Cool! We visited the Pyramids the next day, which had the same shapes with the Pyramids in Egypt except that there were no lions head on the top. Most of the time, we were lying on the beach where was along the Caribbean. So, my son’s skin turned from brown to dark quickly. It was an adventure for me because this was the first time taking my son to a country in which many people cannot speak English. I enjoyed the travel most of the time but hate the people who required me to pay tips.
