Writing exercise

Dear Diary.
Last week my husband and I were really busy because we were applying for Canadian citizenship documents for Lucas. Good thing is that I had lots of contacts with native speakers, bad thing is that I understood how bad my English is. I fell really relieved that we done with all of the application forms and filling out the documents.
Following my homework, I will compare our couple with other people. Me and my husband are haven’t married yet because foreigners are not allowed to marry in China. Our other friends are married but they never had a baby.
My husband hasn’t been to Russia but our friend had been in Russia in 2016.
Usually, we never fight with my husband. Our friends are lucky if they do not fight for a couple of days.
