the man stumbles and falls whilst flapping his arms because the crutches are both damaged from being snapped by MB and the nurse. MB began the wild goose chase through the nursery and the babies wakes up and screamed one by one. And MB smashed through the other door and headed straight down the hall but on the other side of the hall was the broken down elevator so he screached to a halt but the nurse came hurtling down straight towards him and bumped into him sending him flying into the elevator shaft and because of gravity he falls down / plummets down the shaft.
