This story is start at long long ago there is a village in every winter there always has a monster who was big and strong it’s going to ate people.but one day a man puts bamboos into the fire the monster heard boom and it feels scared so it went rans away. so now we always play fireworks on the spring festival

This story is set long long ago in a village in China, and in every winter there was always a monster who came from the forest, and was big and strong and ran around the town breaking things and eating people. However, one day a man put pieces of bamboo into the fire and when the monster heard a crackling sound and it felt scared so it ran away. So now we always play with fireworks during the spring festival because we think it can bring us good luck. For me, I love playing with fire crackers because they’re really beautiful and make a cool crackling sound! 

Yes homework is: read the book and answer these questions: where is the story set? describe the monster, where does he come from? How do the villagers make the monster go away? Why do we use firecrackers these days?
