Samantha, who is a girl with long wavy black hair and blue pyjamas, is pressed up against the window gazing out of Uncle Mitch’s house which is big and she is wearing pyjamas because it’s in the middle of the night and she can’t sleep. She is looking a little sad and bored. Outside the window is a silhouette of a figure in the ocean that is rowing a row boat with 1 oar and there is fog all over the ocean. The room is quite dark. Samantha is thinking about her mother not calling Uncle Mitch and not telling him that she would be staying for the summer. Faintly in the window there is a reflection of Samantha and her pyjamas. The wallpaper is blue with black stripes and the bed besides Samantha is wooden. There is just the sound of the waves which can be heard from the bedroom that Samantha is sleeping in.
