There is a considerable debate about social media sites. Some people argue social media have a negative impact for young people to form personal relationships, while others believe that these sites bring people together in a beneficial way. Personally, I prefer the latter one.

First of all, compare to the traditional way, It’s a more efficient way to know the latest news and connect with others. People save the time by social media and can get a lot information everyday.

The second reason is people can influence someone by their comments, short videos, live streamings, etc. Everybody has equal speaking right to express their opinion as a personal mini-media. These feedback can trigger more public attention, and push the society to be a better one.

Theoretically, it is a big disadvantage for young people to narrow personal relationships in real life with increasing netizens immerse in social media sites. Most of young people are learning soft, such as communication, negotiation, imitation, etc. If they are out of touch with reality, they cannot acquire these skills.

In conclusion, because of high efficiency of communication and equal speaking right, social media must be a future developing trend. However, considering young people is growing up, we need to restrict their time online and protect them not to be addicted with social media sites.

In conclusion, because of high efficiency of communication and equal speaking right, social media must be a future developing trend.
