Practice not saying “and then” but instead say: after that / following that / next / then

Speaking exercise

MB was controling a remote control plane which was yellow and blue. It went beside the boy and it turned around a few times. Then after it turned around a few times, he started to cry. Wahhhh he cried. MB laughed. Suddenly he saw a giant shadow. Following that, it was the boy’s dad, coming with the giant shadow. He picked up MB on his neck and then grabbed on tightly. MB tried to yell but what he yelled is “ugh ugh ugh” and then after a few seconds, the son’s dad letted go MB’s neck. MB fell on the ground with a thud and then MB saw that he was trying to pick up the remote control and try and pull out the joystick. MB tried to not let him pull it but he did and so he went beside the boy and then dragged him back home. But then MB saw that his plane was still flying around. He suddenly saw it was going right above his head. He squat down as fast as he could do but then he noticed that his teddy was still on it. When it was flying away, MB cried “Teddy!!!!” so then MB sighed and then went back home. When he went back home he found a telescope and he found a fork. He took it out and then brung it on the roof to see if he could see it. He put the fork in the remote control where it was broken where the joystick was instead of using that, he used a fork instead of it. And then, he used a telescope to see where is his plane. He looked around in the darkness of the night but then he heard a sound which was like this “vrooom vroom”. He knew it was the plane because no one would do like that. MB was happy as it could be. He controlled instead of the joystick, and tried to control back to MB. He was so happy that he pulled as hard as he can back… and… uhhh that’s it.

The plane with Teddy, which was on fire, flew inside MW and the cat’s house which were almost hit by the plane but weren’t. But it was chasing the cat which ran as fast as he could, and went outside in the darkness of the night but the cat jumped beside the wall, so the plane flew up into the sky and turned around one time and then, it flew away which was super fast. When it was in the sky, it exploded. When he went to bed he grabbed his pillow tightly. Meanwhile, Teddy was falling with his parachute and went down into the chimney, and then landed in the fireplace. MB turned around and suddenly saw his teddy. MB grabbed his teddy and yelled as loud as he could ” TEDDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”.
