Writing exercise

Follow your grammar instincts + try to use “that” to add sentences after a verb like: I know that your name is Penny and that you are in a bad mood.

My mom went to “YuShu” where/that Tibet is nearby two weeks ago, and I stayed at home alone with my cat. I felt that I have been better after she left/her leaving, and I did somethings that I would not do if she staying at home, for example buy flowers, cook dinner, take care of my cat. I think that is the reason of distance can bring benefits, and people should live separate with parents.

2 weeks ago my mom went to “YuShu” which (and it) is near Tibet, and I stayed at home alone with my cat. I felt that I have been better after / since she left/her leaving, and I did some things that I would not do / have done if she stays / stayed at home, for example buying flowers, cooking dinner, and taking care of my cat. I think that is the reason why people say distance can bring benefit – people should live separate from parents.

If you don’t do that you’re breaking the law and my previous boss he didn’t pay the social benefit for us and he said the company will pay this at the end of the year, but you should pay that every month.
