Today‘s topic is to describe my job contents
My job content is to promote Chinese mobile games to overseas markets, and I have released many games in different marketings include Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, Europe, etc…, and the marketing that I worked on in longest time which is Japan.
The process of promoting a game with us needing to do many jobs, for example, do marketing research, run acquisition advertising on platforms such as Google, Facebook, and Twitter, design the branding visuals, work on the branding advertising, find influencer to introduce the game, etc…The heavy part of our job which is acquisition advertising, because usually our game promotion is focus on short-term revenue, rather than long-term brand building, and acquisition advertising is a effective method which is able to guarantee the user quality. Therefore we spent over 70 percent of promotion budget on acquisition adverting, and the rest of it was for branding costs and maintained user communities.
