Nature of the mind is emptiness.
Mind has four functions, to know, to think, to be aware and to have clarity.
To know is totally automatic and without thinking, such as, you see a flower, and you know it’s a flower.
To think is thinking information about it which isn’t present performance, because if it shows you will know.
To be aware, which is not automatic, even we need to strive for it. To be aware that you know, and you’re thinking, and then you might be aware the clarity.
to know, and to be aware are different,
to know is automatic,
and to be aware is nonautomatic,
only know that the thought came,
not helpful for the practice,
cause it’s automatic,
you knew it came,
and you were aware it too,
but without thinking about it,
it will pass,
like the sound,
like the smell,
like the wind,
just passed.
