Plastic Surgery, maybe one of the most profitable industry in the world ?

When the world goes into a more advanced phaze and can meet most people’s basic needs, people will focus on three experiences: love, longevity and beauty, which is a theory from my friend. Most of his investment evolves according to these three themes.

I did not aware this topics before until i feel my aging after year of 35. I tried botox after recommended by one of my colleague. In fashion industry, people pay more attention to small details that can increase the appearance , which I felt shallow before and not interested in them. However, human being are biologically afraid of losing. it is more painful that we have them first and lose them later than we never have them. if we never tasted the good feeling of possessing them, we won’t miss them, which is the most painful part for generals. Plastic Surgery industry exists and makes profit fundenmentally base on this theory. it’s not necessory yet most people are hard to resist it.

To some extent, i think the technologies are wonderful. I tried one, called photo rejuvination, last week. The surgeon checked my face and said, you need remove some yellowness on your face to look brighter. Then she used one kind of machine to do some operations on my face. Later, she murmured to herself, next is to remove the pimple scar. The whole process last about 10 mins. when a nurse handed over me the mirror, i felt my whole skin already look brighter after the magical 10 mins. I might have used 5 years to get the yellowness and scars yet it just removed most of them within 10 mins. The surgeon asked me to take more water in the following days, which would help my body to metabolize the melanin quicker. After one week, Pantone color on my face moved to 1 or 2 levels at least.

Technology makes life better as long as we don’t misuse them or addict to them. Life is all about losing. In the end, we will lose everything. Live present and enjoy today, which might be the most crucial thing that we can posses throughout our life.
