Vocabulary

nice to meet you – 1st time
nice to see you – 2nd time / or after

affected – ying xiang
infected – to get a disease (90%), mind / brain (10%)

delta variant
eg. the delta variant is really contagious / bad

contagious – easy to give the disease to others
eg. delta is much more contagious than other variants of COVID

passenger 
eg. the passenger was a close contact of the covid infected person

mostly children learn drawing – often / most of the time
eg. I mostly eat congee for my breakfast

soy milk – dou jiang

porridge – oats + hot + milk
cereal – hard (granola, corn…) + cold + milk
congee – rice zhou

yum cha = zao cha (not morning tea)

mild / light / easy on the stomach / easy to digest

the number of children learning drawing is much greater / higher than adults

it’s indeed important – actually / to be honest / in fact

tactile – the idea of touching / using your sense of touch
eg. i think drawing on paper is much more tactile than ipad / computer
