Writing exercise

Typhoon Chanthu has been impacting the city of Shanghai, and I’ve been thinking what to write down as the homework to be submitted. Thoughts and emotions come and go, and just like typhoon, it’s here right now and we know it will leave at some point in this week. We get used to asking ourselves to be good employee, to be good girlfriend, to be good to your parents, rarely, we realize that it’s more important to be good to ourselves. My partner left home for work earlier this morning and I’ve been working from home. A email I read this morning made me angry and I realized that I had that emotion and I did a meditation which made me calm and peaceful again afterwords, and once more, I had the chance to know myself. Thank for what happened to me, thank myself for taking caring of myself, thank for what I learnt from the life.

An email I read this morning made me angry and I realized that I had that emotion and I did a meditation / I meditated on it which made me calm and peaceful / and at peace again afterwards, and once more, I had the chance to know myself (better). Thank for what happened to me, thank myself for taking caring of myself, thank for what I learnt from the life.
