Then the magpie saw the shiny diamond on Mrs W’s clothes then he never had a chance to go to MW because MW close the door. Then he sees the cat goes inside the door with a smaller door so he goes through that door and into MW house.

Then he sees the cat go through the cat flap (magpie flap) with a smaller door so he goes through that door and into MW house.
