My hometown Zhengzhou has encountered severe flood from yesterday , which has been caused by a torrential downpour. There are lots of factors contributes to this flooding, but global warming caused by climate change makes extreme rainfall.
Images on social media showed the entire street is submerged , 12 people died from the flood.The whole city now is cut off electricity and drinking water because of the damages from the flood.
There are fears that a dam closer to Zhengzhou is about to collapse as it was damaged by recent storms.
Last night an unverified videos on social media that hundreds of passengers in flooded subway carriage with water reaching above their shoulders.
Now Zhengzhou has already sent out armies with multiple transportation tools to save people who are stuck underground.
