Vocabulary

Rooster – a male chicken

bark – the sound a dog makes
eg. the dog barked at me which was scary

Intensive – they need a lot of your attention / need you to do a lot of work
eg. owning a dog is more intensive / demanding that owning a cat

Wander around – walk around with no purpose
eg. I took my dog out for a walk to wander around

guard dog – a dog that guards your home
guard – a person like a policeman that guards something

There are many things i want to do more than having a pet / there are many things i prefer to having a pet
