Vocabulary

pandemic = a global infection

contagious = can spread from person to person
eg. covid is very contagious / yawning is contagious

vape (verb) / vaping / e–cigarette

customise (verb) = to design something yourself
eg. people can customise their own vape flavours

When talking about smoking…

How long did you smoke for? = how many years were you a smoker

quantity = amount

efficient = using your time/money/resources well

Pros & Cons = good things and bad things / good points and bad points.
eg. there are pros and cons to living in every city

“i quit smoking”
quit: short ‘I‘ sound. Similar to “hit”

well = adverb (describes verb)
eg. I don’t speak english WELL
good = adjective (describes noun)
eg. My english is not GOOD
