Q: what the diff between working for the brand team and for the dm team?

I think in the brand team, if I work for the brand team, maybe I can be better involved in some detailed work of the implementation of strategies… but in the dm team my main responsibility will focus on the data analysis and developing strategies for the consumer operation. But actually I think I’m more interested in data analysis and if I can work closely with people in brand team, I can be involved in the implementation of some of my strategies, so maybe I can play a better role in the whole brand. According to my passion, I would prefer to work for dm team

Q: career plan?
A: In the next 2 years, I expect to consider to work in dm deeply. Develop my own insights …. in the household cleaning industry. Firstly, I will improve more data analysis skills … In addition I will strengthen the communication with colleague in brand team, clearly identify the pain points of brands… I want to improve my analysis ability and profession influence continually. What’s your role in these project?
I worked as a project leader in my team, and for different projects, I had different responsibilities.
For some important projects or some first-time projects we did for the first time, for example the project we talked about just now/in the previous question, I needed to govern / manage / coordinate the whole project. I developed the whole framework of the project, set a timetable and monitored its progress in real-time. I planned team members’ work, and they reported to me regularly, so that I could conclude pain points and give the next steps/give them directions for the analyses and solutions (what do you mean by “the directions of analysis”?). And I also needed to do some detail work on such projects, like designing the logic of the data and collecting them.
For some regular projects, I would give my subordinates more space/freedom, and give them help when they need it.
