I think computer games have a bad influence on the young population but they should not be banned. First, As we all know, staring at computers for a long time is terrible for children’s eyes. It is bad for the youth growth. According to the Chinese sight report, 53.6% of teenagers have problem in eye sight. And this data increases year by year. Some parents blame all problems for computer games, but it is not only because staring at computers, but also bad habits for writing. So I think we should control the time which children play computer games and do sports outside with children.
What’s more, playing computer games can also develop children’s learning abilities. Children has curiosity to new creations. When I was young and started to learn how to use keyboard to enter the words, the teacher let us play a computer games in jinshan application. If we entered the right word in the limited time, the frog would jump on the leaves and go through the river successfully. I paid attention to the game and remembered the way of controlling the keyboard quickly. Nowadays, it is common for the youth to learn programming. There are a lot of computers games which integrates programming knowledge. It is useful for the youth to learn the program quickly.
All in all, Computer games has more advantages than disadvantages/the advantages of computer games outweigh its disadvantages, so we should not ban the computer games.
