Hi everyone, my name is Lynette. I’m a NYU graduate, and five years ago I moved from New York to Beijing because I really wanted to participate in the world’s fastest-growing market. Since then, I have been working in the fintech industry in china for more than five years and I still think that it’s the best playground for people like me, who are looking for challenges and personal growth. Outside of work, I’m a music lover and I’m a semi-pro dancer. I took my first ballet class when I was seven years old, and later, fell in love with street dance in high school. Now no matter how busy I am, spending a couple of hours in the dance studio lets me express myself without thinking too much. I still remember the last time I visited MIT, it was 9 years ago during the Thanksgiving Holidays and I was so impressed by the weirdly creative, asymmetric buildings. I really look forward to being on campus again and to meeting all of you in person.
