Irritating: something that is annoying .

eg: I find being late to work very irritating.

Lets face it, your feet were designed to work without shoes.And while running barefoot does pose certain unique hazards, such as stepping on a sharp object or injuring your skin on abrasive pavement, there are reports that barefoot running is actually beneficial.

While the research is still limited and many of the reports anecdotal, running barefoot may actually decrease the likelihood of ankle sprains and chronic injuries.

Hazard: something dangerous. Or potentially hazardous

Eg Stay away from them they are a hazard!

Eg: You should wipe the water from the floor as it’s a slipping hazard!

Abrasive: something rough, and not smooth

Eg The surface of the moon is very abrasive

Eg Girls don’t want their skin to feel abrasive, they prefer smooth skin.

Pavement: A path we walk on to go down a street

I fell whilst walking down the pavement and hit my head
