Vocabulary

make up V – to do something that you missed before

eg: “We have to make up a day at work because we changed the schedule for the holiday.”

pants -ku zi –  some clothes you wear over your legs, usually long

eg: “I got a new pair of pants today.”

jeans – a kind of pants made from denim

eg: “Do you like my new jeans?”

shorts – duan ku zi – short pants

eg: “It’s too hot for pants, I want to put on shorts.”

developer – a group or person who has large projects for construction.

eg: “Developers in China are very rich, because there is a huge demand for housing.”

categorize – to separate by category

eg: “I categorize all the accounts before I start working on them.”

overwhelmed – to feel like something is too much to handle

eg: “I don’t feel overwhelmed when we have a lot of work. I just try to make sure it’s all done properly.”

Not really, it’s been the same as usual.

A: l’m pretty good.
Q: How is your family?
A: They are all good. I have a girl who is almost 3 years old. And husband is in the RDM Florentia Village which have Tianjin and Shanghai Florentia Villages. Our group brands, like Dunhill, MTB, Chloe, have stores in there. But my husband is in charge of construction.
Q: Can you talk about your work because I don’t know you.
A: For BU and LE, I mainly focus on the Opex which need to communicate with HR team, merchandising team, marketing, LOG team and accounting team, all kinds of temples requested from brand, group, and light input. But for the sales, marco discusses with MD to estimate every store sale, and then I separate them by categories and estimate commercial margins. Once full year budget have confirmed, I prepare the presentation pack. Basically, I can finish the BU/LE independently.
