Writing exercise
When I was a little girl, I had allergic asthma. I started to cough once I arrived to my grandma’s home and got well when I went back to my own house. At that time, we all didn’t know what disease it was. My parents thought western medicine would have more side effects than TCM and they must be harmful to a child. So I tried a lot of TCM, but they didn’t work. Fortunately, the disease has not relapsed since I developed. It was such an awful experience.

Upgraded:
Back in the day, I had allergic asthma. I started coughing once I got to my grandma’s place and it went away as soon as I got back home. Back then, we all had no idea what the problem was. My parents thought western medicine would have a whole lot more side effects than TCM and they must be harmful to children. So I gave a lot of TCM treatments a shot, but unfortunately they didn’t work. Luckily, the disease has not relapsed since I grew up. It was such a horrible experience.
