Vocabulary

What does that mean?

Internal – from  or in the inside

eg: We hire people internally. Its better to hire people who already work at the company.

External – from  or on the outside

eg: This medication is intended only for external(adj) use(N). So don’t eat it!

phrase – a few words often used together.

eg: In class you should always remember a phrase, not just one word.

eg: Chengyu are phrases in Chinese that always use 4 words.

Sentence – Ju zi

eg: Always reply with a complete sentence. Not a one word answer.

cloth – uncountable noun, material you can make clothes from

rest – you are tired

eg: I need to rest.

break – you want to stop

eg: I need a break.

episode – one part of a tv show, usually 24 – 56 minutes long.

eg: I watched 5 episodes yesterday, I was so lazy.

Cantonese – Guang Dong Hua

eg: I can’t speak Cantonese, I’m not from HK.

Recently,I see some TV shows，”I can I bb” is the one I keep binge-watching . This program is something like debate, and there are two teams，the positive side and negative side，and each team has 4 guys. In each program there is a topic, two teams will argue with each other to prove their own opinion， and at last the audience will vote to choose the winer who can touch them. It is also a variety show，so it’s different from the traditional debate show. Through this program I can acquire some knowledge and I learn to look the same thing from different angles.Besides it’s really funny, I always laugh at the weird opinions.
I highly commend this program to you although it’s maybe hard to understand because of their quickly Chinese speaking.
