Writing exercise

As you knew, my job is about media buying, I need to seek opportunities to cooperate with different media, helping client for their product or brand promotion, especially in peak season. Two months ago, I got a brief from my client, they want to make a promotion in 2nd half of 2018 and their TA are young people who have allergic problems. The other demand they request is that they want to cooperate with a big IP. Then, I seek top 1 selfie app in China market because I think the young like selfie, it can help brand cover lots of users. Besides, this app is called Meitu, they’ll hold a big event in this summer and I believe it will make a great social buzz, because this media will invite popular stars to attend and help promotion. It definitely attracts massive of their fans and most of their fans are young people.
However, when I presented this proposal, the boss of the client said “No.” The reason is they don’t like the IP and don’t think brand message will be delivered to consumers widely, because of it’s just an offline event, holding in Shanghai just for 3 days, which is not enough to fulfill national-coverage.
I was stuck and had no idea what should I do, after that proposal failed. If I couldn’t have any improvement, the 2nd half year, I’ll have no campaign and my client will feel stressful too, because it will affect their sales.
After 2 weeks later, I submitted another proposal. Since my client’s product is for treating allergy, I tried to figure out what always occurs allergy. In my mind, I think weather is. People get easier to have allergic reaction in the spring and autumn, so I told my client about the idea. Fortunately, we are going ahead by this direction.
2nd half year will keep busy, I think.
