eg: We were playing cutthroat, and since I was the first person to get a ball in a pocket, I got to choose which 5 balls were mine. So then I could out the other ones in the pocket, and if mine are still on the table when all other players balls are not, then I win.

broth – water that things have been cooked in for a long time, like, chicken broth or beef broth, vegetable broth, can be the base of soups, or used for other cooking

eg: The most important part of the Pho is the broth.

I’d like to recommend Pho Sizzling as a cost-effective Viet restaurant in Shanghai. Just like it’s first name “Pho”, they serve Vietnamese noddle mostly, but also serve appetizers, salads and other main dishes. Since the restaurant is located near my office, i go there to have a lunch quite frequently at least one or two times of a week. There are several reasons why i like Pho Sizzling. First, there is lunch menus including a cup of lemon tea with reasonable price, around 45rmb in average. Comparing to other restaurants surrounding my office, it’s one of affordable places where I can feel free to go in my daily life. Also their pho, the viet noodle, tastes very good. Especially the soup has a deep taste so it’s perfect for a hangover on the day after drinking. Therefore, if you are looking for not only tasty but also practical viet restaurant, Pho Sizzling would be the great choice!

Compared to other restaurants around my office, it’s one of the more affordable places that I like to go to. Also their pho, the vietnamese noodles, tastes very good. Especially the soup has a rich taste so it’s perfect for a hangover on the day after drinking. Therefore, if you are looking for not only tasty but also a practical Vietnamese restaurant, Pho Sizzling would be the right choice!

2018 Spring restaurant week is being held in 5 cities of China recently and Shanghai, the cosmopolitan city, is not an exception. Restaurant week is known as the chance to dine at famous restaurants with a discounted set menu price. For me, it is also the chance to discover the restaurants where i have never been in Shanghai. Last Wednesday i went to the french restaurant “Cuivre” which i’d searched on the restaurant week’s website and it was as good as i’d expected. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming with their contemporary design combining wood decor. The foods were delicious as well. I took a dinner set menu served with foie gras, beef steak and cream pudding which only costs 278rmb for all of them. It was great time to explore casual French dishes which made me feel more comfortable than elegant fancy French. I will definetly visit Cuivre again next time.

I took a dinner set menu served with foie gras, beef steak and cream pudding which only costs 278rmb total. It was a great chance to explore some common French dishes which made me feel more comfortable than elegant fancy French food. I will definitely visit Cuivre again next time.
