Writing exercise

Write about your son and his stomach virus. How did you feel when he got sick? How did you feel when you were at the hospital for 6 hours?

I received a call from my mother that my son began to vomit and had a fever after the outing organized by kidgarden last Thursday afternoon. When I got home, he was still not in himself and couldn’t eat or drink anything. I had to take him to the nearby hospital in night.

The doctor gave him some injection. Total 3 bottles, 2 small ones and a big one. My handsband and I accompanied him almost 6 hours in hospital and we got home almost 4 in the morning.

He looked really weak during that night which was quite abnormal. We had to took care of him in case vomit again or touch the needle. The good thing was he was asleep most of the time. although the doctor said it was not that serious I still was so worried because he was a premature baby and had some big operations on colon during the first 4 months. My handsband also had this worrying but he looked much more stable than I that made me feel better.

He took another injection in Thursday but in that night he suffered the belly pain again. We took him to Children’s hospital this time and did a thorough check. When he turned over and over in my arms with painful face I could hold my tears. The good thing was the check results was not bad. Then he took some more injection there. My parents came to took care of him and brought him back when I had to go to work in the day.
