My name is Edward and I’m 40. I’m an old man, I come from Heilongjiang province. But I have been living in Shanghai for more than ten years and my wife is also Shanghainese, I’m a HR director in a national owned company. The company business is to do some investment projects focus on hospital, in another word, we will buy some hospital from government and we will improve the … as you know more hospitals in China, the hospitals… every government has hospital in every city in china. So the management level of hospital is not so good. So we need to improve the management skill and management method. Currently there are five hospitals we have. and most of them the operation is not so bad. But we need to recruit more and more medical experts from other hospital and let them to go to our hospitals to improve their operation skill. I’m a HR director in this company and I have a 10 people team, what my responsibility is to improve our hospitals HR skill and management level. it’s different from other firms. include HR management, it’s also different between common firm and hospital. So I had some difficult to do my job, because my background is first on manufacturing company. I have been work in manufacturing company for more than 15 years, so I need more time to know the operation of the hospital.
