Vocabulary

you jump out of an airplane with something like a huge umbrella (Parachute)

It’s like skydiving, but not in a plane, you jump off a bridge with a long stretchy rope attached to you. Then you bounce up and down, and hanging by a rope. (Bungee Jumping)

miracle -too lucky, seems like not true, too good. maybe done by God

eg: It’s a miracle she survived the fall.

regress(V.) – opposite of progress(V.)

eg: My yoga has regressed a little since I went to Chengdu.

rusty (ADJ) – when your skill is not as good as usual, because you didn’t practice for a long time

eg: My Chinese is a little rusty. I haven’t spoken Chinese in 5 years.

intense – extreme or very high degree

eg: The rain is intense right now, you’d better not go outside.

eg: Skydiving is really intense, but it’s so fun.

tense – nervous or stiff/hard muscles

eg: You don’t seem very tense today.

Grammar

If…..    She wouldn’t have done….

If she knew she was pregnant she wouldnt’ve done the jump. (but she did it)
