Hi Managers,

I see last Friday simply a Non-Compliance issue but at the end/beginning of the month. Although I am not stating consultants are deliberate but it has the potential to be classified as Fraud. I’m sure I do not need to explain just how serious that is, and how serious the consequences would be for both the Individual, the Manager and the Directors (including myself) should any of our staff be found to have manipulated Start checks, Start Dates for financial gain.

In future, where start dates are found to have been either manipulated deliberately or reported incorrectly – all commission will be removed (Consultant, Manager and Director) and it would not be dealt with lightly.

FYI – we have a simple process in place where Celine’s Finance team will call each placements starting on 1st working day of the month in the afternoon after our teams have completed start checks and confirmed candidate has started. If Celine’s team has to inform me and Simon there are some placements have not started and shouldn’t be in the perm book, then we will have a serious issue.

So please emphasize with your team and set expectation right. Plus make sure the culture and compliance activities (start checks) in your Teams ensures that Celine’s team will never need to email me about an incorrect start date!

Let’s move on from May and put in tighter control and management over start dates and start checks from now on. Thank you all.
