Oh, “Kong Tiao” in English is Air Conditioning = A/C

TV show – anything that is on TV, that is not Sports, Live, or a Movie

eg: I was watching a show called Father Brown. It’s like Sherlock Holmes.

acupuncture – to put many small needles in your skin, to stimulate the nerves and blood flow

eg: Have you ever gotten acupuncture?

eg: Yes, I have gotten acupuncture.

meet up with – not meet for first time,

eg: I’m gonna meet up with some friends from Beijing, do you wanna join?

eg: We met up with old friends.

eg: I met them for the first time.

request some time off – ask for free time

eg: We both requested some time off, and went to HuZhou.

build it up – slowly get more and more of something over time

eg: I can build up my overtime hours, then take off a lot of time later.
