reason – tells us why…

eg: Do you have a reason to go there? No, I just want to go there.

meter – Length,

eg: I am 1.6 meters tall.

silent – no sound

eg: My phone was on silent.

eg: The “H” in the word “HOUR” is silent. So, it’s pronounced, OUR.

jail – the place where police put bad people

eg: Maybe he’s in jail. And only his family can see him.
