Vocabulary
petty cash – small amounts of money given out by a business to use for work related things
eg: They gave me 160 yuan petty cash every day.
side-effect – a result of an action that is not expected or intended, usually bad.
eg: People believing in fake news, is a side effect of the internet. The internet is simply too much information for people to handle.
eg: A side-effect of using cell phones is staring at screens at any time.
a flat out lie – a complete 100% obvious lie
eg: He said he was the best salesman, and we knew it was a flat out lie.
Grammar
after 10 days of not eating dinner he got sick.
I want to decrease what I eat for dinner. – I want to eat less for dinner.
after one month I can lose my weight for 5kg – When I was younger, after one month of running I can lose about 3kg. Now, it doesn’t seem to work.
