Reading

I booked a one way ticket to Bangkok and another one way ticket back to Shanghai. Because the round trip ticket from BKK to SH was more expensive. My ticket includes one free checked bag, and of course a carry on bag. I took a taxi to the airport and printed my boarding pass using the machines on the side. It is supposed to scan your passport, but I just put in the I.D. number.  I couldn’t change my seat, so I went to the check-in counter to ask them to help me. At the check in counter they asked if I have any bags I need to check. I didn’t need to check any bags since I just brought a small carry on. I went through security and they stopped me to ask what was in my bag. And told me to “please remove it from your bag”. It was an external battery and some of those are prohibited on flights. So they checked the specs and saw it is not too big, so I can take it. I boarded the plane about 30 minutes late because there was a weather delay. Then we took off another 15 minutes later. At least I wasn’t going to Macau because their flight got cancelled. When we landed in BKK I got off the plane and headed to the baggage claim. I waited for my bag for about 2 minutes before I remembered I didn’t check a bag. so I left the airport and hopped in a taxi.
