F2F Class Notes (Tony)

Next Class Focus

Focus on using prepositions correctly

Vocabulary

skinny – opposite of fat, thin

eg: Did you get fatter?

eg: Did you get skinnier? (than before)  (We don’t need to say the comparison, because it is implied)

eg: Did he get smarter?   No, he didn’t. He is cheating.

Grammar

If I don’t am not close with someone

We don’t need to say the comparison, because it is implied:

Did you get skinnier? (than before)

No comparison because we specified a time:

Do you get fatter in the winter?  (Do = Usually, Always)

Listening: Listen to a story from the teacher and tell it back to them.

And then you helped him to finish that presentation and you thinked you can do better than him, and when you presented in that class you finished it well and after that one years later you have your presentation next class and you prepared a lot of for it and you finished it very well, and only problem your teacher said is that you was too confident.

You said you are shy even when you studied in college and your subject was Electronic Media and one of your classes needed you to do the presentation and you didn’t like doing presentations. You didn’t want to do it and you had another group class that you needed to cooperate with others to do a presentation and the first person to present was so nervous he forgot what he wanted to say and he couldn’t find the right paper to read. Then you helped him finish that presentation and you thought you can do better than that, and when you presented in that class you did well. One year later you had a presentation in another class and you prepared a lot of for it. You did very well, and the only problem your teacher said is that you were too confident.

Notes: You forgot to mention that I was originally worried about the public speaking class. But the first presentation helped me prepare for that class.
