eg: What was the name of that shop?

I don’t know, but I can look it up.

eg: Can you look up the address? / Can you look the address up.


commercial – businesses using money, shopping, selling

eg: Most holidays are commercial now.

eg: Christmas has become very commercialized. (made into a commercial holiday )

theme – general idea that the style is based on

eg: For this party we are having a beach theme. So we will decorate the place with palm trees and sand and different colorful beach balls

No, we can’t. Let’s stick to a mountain theme. We can put some pine trees there.

pine trees – like Christmas trees, found in cold places and on mountains

costume – some special clothes to make you look like something or someone else

eg: All the kids are wearing costumes on Halloween.

I think I would go to a costume party.

No, I haven’t been to any costume party.

Halloween – October 31st, a holiday where children wear costumes, maybe scary, maybe funny, and walk to neighbor’s home to ask for candy, called (trick or treating)

eg: Let’s go trick or treating on Halloween.
