Vocabulary
Did you go there ? – Have you gone there?
I read the book, maybe just one day – I read( past tense – RED) the book in maybe just one day
I read (RED) it in 2 hours.
Once I was so bored, I read a novel in one day.
sometimes I read a few paper pages
It took me about 2 hours total
a lot of people like to soak in the hot springs
soak – to sit in water for a long time
eg: Soak the vegetables before you cook them.
eg: We are gonna soak in the hot springs for about an hour.
flow – continuous movement of water
eg: I turned on the water for the sink, but it wasn’t flowing out of the faucet.
eg: The river is flowing very quickly today, because there was a lot of rain last night.
eg: Near my hometown there is some warm water flowing out of a hot spring from the mountain. It’s near an active volcano.
Grammar
What’s the difference? (because these two kinds of grammar are almost the same, it is a little confusing)
Did you go there ? – Have you gone there?
Did you (do something) (recently, and about a certain time, like last night?)
Did you have breakfast?
Have you (done something) (at least one time before) (or you have not done it, never before)
Have you had breakfast? (at any time before, did you eat breakfast?)
