Vocabulary

break – when you stop doing something for a while

eg: I want to take a break, I’m tired.

eg: I have a break from work, for one week. I want to make it ten days.

eg: I have a lunch break at 1pm.

eg: Can I take a bathroom break?

screen – the part of phone, computer, you can see.

eg: My screen is broken.

eg: Can you see the screen?

skin – pi fu

eg: My skin is dry and itchy.

eg: The heater can make your skin very dry.

itchy – you want to scratch

eg: My nose is itchy, but I can’t scratch it.

scratch – what you do if you have an itch.

eg: I have an itch on my back, and I can’t scratch it.

Examples:

How often do you go home?

I go home three times a year. = I go home every 4 months.

I go home once a year.     =     I go home every year.

Before I used to go home 6 times a year. = I used to go home every 2 months.
