paid time off – paid vacation

stagger – arranged so that things are positioned at different places or happen at different times

eg: Their schedules are staggered so that there will always be someone at the front desk. He works 9-5, she works 4-10pm.

eg: They planned to stagger lunch hours so that the cafeteria would not be rushed.

busy work – work with no reason, only to make you busy, meaningless

eg: Some bosses love giving busy work.

oblivious – have no idea about what is around you or what is happening.

eg: She kept dancing, oblivious to everyone around her.
