split – the divide something into equal parts

eg: It’s pretty common for young couples to split the bill.

over the top – beyond what is necessary or normal

eg: He has a really over the top personality.

secret santa – an anonymous gift exchange

hazing – forcing someone to do sth. unpleasant, usually to become part of the group

eg: Fraternities and Sororities have some pretty bad hazing for new members.

eg: Chinese companies do some light hazing to new employees. Nothing harmful, just make them do a performance, like singing or dancing.

fluorescent – a kind of long light bulb

eg: We need 3 fluorescent light bulbs.
