Vocabulary

you can see snow almost every year

cactus – a plant with sharp spikes or needles

eg: There are many kinds of cactus in Arizona.

pine trees – cold weather trees, tall and has many needles. Christmas tree

eg: There are many pine trees in Korea.

Pine Cone – there large brown cone shaped things on pine trees, that have seeds

eg: We used to have pine cone fights when I was younger.

bulb – 1. can be a rounded long part of a plant 2. a Light bulb

eg: In Korean they are called pine bulbs.

border – the line between things, like countries, states

eg: The Arizona border should have had a beach, but the guy who made the border line, was a drunk and messed it up.

frostbite – when your skin starts to die from being frozen, could turn black, and you could lose your body parts

hypothermia – extreme damage to your body from cold temperatures

eg: You can actually get hypothermia from warm water, because 72F feels warm, but it will lower your body temperature.
