non-compete clause – a term of a contract which states yous may not work for a similar company is the similar industry

eg: The non-compete clause prevents any firm from hiring him without paying a hefty breach of contract fee.

set in stone – written to be rule or law forever, written in stone.

the contract terms are not set in stone, they can always be amended.

incriminate yourself – say information that will eventually be bad for you. prove you did something wrong.

give it a shot – to try sth.

eg: Do you wanna give it a shot?

cardio ( cardiovascular exercise) – exercises that get your heart rate up.

eg: I do 30 minutes of cardio at the gym.

strength training – lifting heavy weights to get bigger or stronger

eg: I need to bulk up so I’ve been doing strength training all summer.
