likely – probably will happen

eg: China will likely have less pollution in the future.

eg: The likelihood (N.) of china having less pollution in the future is high.

eg: There is a strong likelihood of his being elected.

eg: He will likely be elected.

unlikely –  probably will not happen

eg: It’s unlikely that I will gain 100 Kilos, but it’s possible.

vet (veterinarian) – animal doctor

eg:The vet told me my cat didn’t want to drink dirty water.

stagnant – not moving, still,   still water

eg: My cat won’t drink water that’s even a little stagnant.
