pun – a joke, that uses one word, with more than one meaning.

eg: We aim to please, so you aim too please!    (Aim is the pun in this joke. ) Aim = Goal     Aim = where you point sth.

rush – do something very quickly

eg: I’m in a rush.

eg: I rushed over here.

eg: I rushed to the store to buy some eggs, while I was cooking. But when I i got back it was burned. I didn’t rush enough.

I can’t help it – I can’t control myself and I must do this.

eg: I know I shouldn’t eat 10 hamburgers today, but I can’t help it, they are so good.

remote – 1. far away from many other things 2. something that let’s you control a machine from far away.

eg: Xinjiang is a very remote place in China, but it is still full of people.

eg: Do you have the remote (control) for this TV?

eg: In the future, I hope to do freelance video work remotely. I mean, I wanna live anywhere and work online.

value – how much something is worth,   if you buy it, price

eg: The value of your house could double.
