bought ( buy past tense)

The scarves were 1 for 180 or 2 for 330. At the end I paid 280. I asked her for a cheaper price.

bargain V. – to ask for a cheaper price, or change the agreement (N)

eg: I bargained with her, and paid 280.

eg: Don’t try to bargain with me, you are working this weekend, or you’re fired.

surgery – when the doctor’s have to cut into your body

eg: Did you get surgery? maybe a nose job.

eg: Would you get a nose job?   No, I wouldn’t get a nose job.

plastic surgery – an operation done by a doctor, usually to make someone look better.

eg: Plastic surgery is very common in Korea.

can you tell? – can you notice, or know

eg: I could tell you changed your hair, it looks different.

eg: I can tell you are married, because you are wearing a ring.

eg: I can’t tell you had a nose job.  I think you didn’t have a nose job.

breast implants – doctor’s put a silicon bag inside, to make it look bigger.

eg: In USA some girls even get butt implants.

breast reduction – surgery to make breasts smaller.

eg: She had to get a breast reduction because she had back problems.
