eg: I messed up my schedule.

acidic – strong taste and bad for your stomach, found strong coffee and other foods

eg: If you eat too much pineapple, your mouth will be sore, because it’s too acidic.

a tan (N.) – when you have darker skin than normal, from being in the sun a lot

eg: I got a tan from the beach last week.

eg: I usually don’t get a tan, I just get burned.

ski – to ride on some wood on the snow

eg: Skiing is really fun.

self conscious – really cares about what people think too much

eg: Don’t be so self-conscious, you look great.

take sth. personally – you think they did it because of you

eg: Don’t take it personally I don’t remember anyone’s name.

take a joke – have a sense of humor, you don’t get upset about jokes.

eg: Can’t you take a joke?

eg: He couldn’t take a joke and he got really angry.
