eg: I don’t think that he is cute.

trash/garbage – la ji

eg: Raccoons eat your trash, but they are still a little cute.

eg: I have a lot of trash after work. I put my lunch in the trash can. It is full now.

genuine – real and not fake

eg: A genuine case that happened in Thailand. It was not just a story.

during – happening in a time period/ long time

eg: During class I learned about red pandas.

eg: You shouldn’t call your friends during class.

cheat – to not follow the rules

eg: Some people can win if they cheat, but it’s the wrong way.

genius – hen cong ming, a very smart person. Usually has a high IQ, over 150?

eg: He was a genius and found a way to cheat on the test, but he was caught.

eg: I got caught cheating in Tony’s class. He took my phone.

I get off work around 6 O’clock. (Usually)

I got off work at 3pm today. (One time in the past)

I will get off work at 7 O’clock tomorrow. (One time in the future)

I was working and reading a book.

I worked an read a book.
